How do I set up my KeyBlock stickers? +
Peel a sticker from the pack and place it on any surface — your desk, nightstand, journal, water bottle, or anywhere in your daily routine. Download the KeyBlock app from the App Store, open it, and choose which apps you want to block. Then tap your phone to the sticker. That's it — your selected apps are blocked instantly.
What phones are compatible? +
KeyBlock works with iPhone XS and later (any iPhone with NFC), and all NFC-enabled Android devices.
How do I unblock my apps? +
Walk back to your sticker and tap your phone again. The physical trip is the point — it gives your brain a moment to decide if you actually need those apps right now.
Can I use one sticker with multiple phones? +
Yes. KeyBlock stickers work with any compatible phone. Multiple people in a household can use the same sticker.
What if a sticker stops working? +
KeyBlock stickers are built to last and have no battery — they're powered by your phone's NFC signal. If a sticker isn't responding, make sure you're tapping your phone directly on it (the NFC reader is near the top of your iPhone). If it still doesn't work, email us at support@keyblock.app and we'll replace it.
What if I lose a sticker? +
Your 5-pack gives you extras for exactly this reason. Place them in multiple spots so you always have one nearby. Need more? Reorder anytime at keyblock.app.
Can I customize which apps get blocked? +
Yes. The KeyBlock app lets you create custom blocking modes — choose exactly which apps and websites to block for each mode. We also include 4 presets to get you started: Deep Work, Sleep, Family Time, and Gym.
How is this different from Screen Time? +
Apple Screen Time is software blocking software — you can bypass it in 3 seconds by tapping 'Ignore Limit.' KeyBlock requires a physical tap on a sticker to unblock, which creates a real barrier your brain can't shortcut.
Do I need the app to use KeyBlock? +
Yes. The free KeyBlock iOS app is required to configure your blocking modes and activate the NFC tap functionality.
Is the app free? +
Yes. The KeyBlock app is completely free. You only pay for the physical stickers.
